INTERNATIONAL ALIGNMENT

Grass Fed Romania did not emerge as a reaction to a market trend.

It has been present from the beginning in the international dialogue that led to the strengthening of cooperation between Grass-Fed organizations globally, including in the meetings and discussions that formed the basis for the formation of the Global Grass-Fed Alliance.

Our early participation was not symbolic.
It was an active one — geared toward clarifying standards and protecting the integrity of the term “Grass-Fed.”

At a time when many markets still use the term without clear rules, Grass Fed Romania firmly supported:

• strict definition of a diet based exclusively on feed

• ban on grain finishing

• the need for real audit at farm level

• protecting the term against misuse

Through this involvement, Grass Fed Romania positioned itself from the beginning as a representative of Central and Eastern Europe in the global dialogue on authentic pasture-raised standards.

Our standards are aligned with established organizations such as:

• American Grassfed Association

• Pasture for Life

• Associazione Italiana Grass-fed

• Grass Fed Association of South Africa

Our standards follow the same fundamental principles:

• 100% feed-based diet
• Prohibition of grain finishing
• Constant access to pasture
• No routine use of antibiotics
• Full traceability

We don't reinvent the rules.

We apply them rigorously.
